Covers the pedagogy and performance of singing, some history, and potential methodologies to use in public school curriculum. Includes mastering basic voice techniques and applications, and identifying and remedying voice performance errors in grade 6-12 music. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Perform with basic singing technique and overall coordination of the singing mechanism. 2. Examine and categorize basic vocal literature in popular and classical styles. 3. Diagnose and remedy common singing errors. 4. Arrange music for secondary-level vocal ensembles. SP (odd)
