Description:

Private string instruction for music majors. Participation in departmental recitals and a final jury examination are required. 50-minute lesson and one-hour performance class per week. Student must pass jury exam to progress to next level of private instruction. Repeatable up to 2 credits subject to graduation restrictions. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Perform with applicable technical proficiency. 2. Perform with appropriate artistry and interpretation. 3. Demonstrate musical literacy through relevant style and performance practices. 4.
