Study of choral music, both sacred and secular, from antiquity through 20th Century; the relationship of world music to the choral genre; current composers and appreciation of their works; and arranging for non-traditional choirs. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Identify and describe elements of choral music based on composer and history. 2. Evaluate choral music in relation to the abilities of potential performers and resources. 3.
