Description:
Final course designed for students enrolled in electrical apprenticeship. Reviews DC and AC theory, electrical circuits and circuit calculations, transformers, motors and motor control circuits. Studies the calculation of single and three phase loads, service entrance size, feeder and branch circuit capacity, wire and conduit size, and voltage drops. Includes a comprehensive study of all chapters of the National Electrical Code with an emphasis placed on the preparation for taking the Utah State Journeyman Exam. Completers should be prepared to take the Utah State Journeyman Exam, provided they have completed all Utah State requirements. Prerequisite/Restriction: APPR 2410 and apprentice license Campus: USU Eastern only
