Prerequisite(s): MAT 0950 or equivalent. Designed for the business student as a review of mathematical principles, techniques, computations, and their applications to business problems. Topics include: checking accounts and bank reconciliations, percents, solving for the "unknown," discounts, markups and markdowns, payroll, simple interest, discounting notes, present and future value, depreciation, inventory, taxes, insurance, stocks and bonds, annuities, sinking funds, and calculator procedures..
