Description:
Prerequisite(s): Departmental Approval. Combines classroom theory with related, practical job experience. Provides students work experience as employees of a business, agency, or institution while enrolled in classes related to their career/major. Allows for individualized course content with students setting objectives in concert with their internship advisor and their workplace supervisor. Requires pre-approval by the area coordinator and department internship advisor. Offers variable credit determined by the number of hours worked per week. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credits towards graduation. May be graded credit/no credit.
