Prerequisite(s): It is recommended that students complete ASL 202G or have equivalent skills acquired through classes elsewhere or other through life experiences. Focuses on grammatical and linguistic aspects of ASL, including the following: sign formation, morphological structures, syntactic structures, pronominalization, identification and analysis of subjects and objects, classifiers, depicting verbs, pluralization, time concepts, and social interaction of language and culture within Deaf communities. . Lab access fee of $12 applies.
