Prerequisite(s): Admissions to the Dental Hygiene Program or upon approval by program director, and University Advanced Standing. Addresses the complexities inherent in global and/or intercultural oral health and the community health theories and strategies used to address these concerns. Includes the planning and execution of a 10 day oral health education or service project in either another culture or another country (e.g., Native American reservation in Utah or Guatemala). Students from all disciplines may participate.
