Prerequisite(s): One of the following (within department time limits): MAT 0950 or MAT 0980 with a C or higher; or appropriate placement by a placement exam.. Teaches Beginning and Intermediate Algebra in one semester. Covers linear, quadratic, and rational expressions, equations, and functions; systems of equations; logarithms; exponents; graphing; and problem solving. Prepares students for MAT 1030, STAT 1040, MATH 1050, and MATH 1090. May be delivered hybrid and/or online.
