Prerequisite(s): MGMT 3000 and University Advanced Standing. Studies management theory and emphasizes the managerial view of the elements and variables that influence the organization. Examines organizational design and change emphasizing the management tools used in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and leading, and the coordinating of these factors within organizations. Uses current events as they relate to managing and developing the organization. Includes case analyses, team building exercises, videos, class discussions, group presentations, written assignments, and guest speakers.. Lab access fee of $13 for computers applies.
