Corequisite(s): MUSC 250R or MUSC 450R. Pre- or Corequisite(s): MUSC 455R. Provides experience performing scenes from opera. Explores the techniques of dramatic characterization and stage craft. Addresses the process of character analysis. Discusses the control of performance anxiety. Practices the basic techniques of stage makeup and costuming. Develops advanced-level singing proficiency. May be repeated for a maximum of 12 credits toward graduation.. Course Lab fee of $100 for support applies.
