An introduction and exploration into the use of the computer as a tool and medium for visual communication within the arts. Students will develop an understanding of the fundamental thinking behind the technical structure and management of image-related programs and documents. Emphasis is placed upon developing, collecting, and translating visual information into an electronic medium both on and off the computer. Prerequisite: First Year Studio Program.
