Description:
This directed study course is designed to provide academic credit for internships and co-op experiences in bio-, biomedical engineering and closely related fields. Students must submit a written proposal describing the work to be completed for course credit to the instructor to obtain permission to enroll. The proposal must also include a brief description of the sponsor including contact information for the student's immediate supervisor. Proposals are evaluated and approved for course credit on the basis of programmatic educational merit. Prerequisites: Full Major status in Biomedical Engineering.
