Description:
The purpose of the laboratory is to give students hands on experience with the scientific method, teach critical thinking and writing skills as well as important techniques to prepare students for advanced work in chemistry and related science and engineering fields, and to introduce certain concepts that are well-suited to hands-on discovery. Students need either to have taken, or be taking concurrently, CHEM 2310 or CHEM 2311, in order to succeed in this course. Prerequisites: 'C-' or better in CHEM 2315 Corequisites: 'C-' or better in CHEM 2320 OR CHEM 2321
