When is a conversation an argument and when is it a negotiation? In an increasingly polarized world, the ability to identify and successfully participate in both types of conversation is essential in our classrooms, workplaces, and communities. Through interactive exercises and case studies, students will learn to analyze different communication contexts, tailor arguments to diverse audiences, and navigate conflicts through principled negotiation.
