Description:
This course is intended to improve skills to safely conduct open water dives. Skills include: buoyancy, proper weighting, marine conservation, equipment assembly, proper dive planning and maintenance. Classes will be conducted at an off campus designated location. This course will include books and equipment rental for registered class/pool sessions and for scheduled Open Water dives. The only additional costs will be for transportation/food/lodging/crater fee for the Open Water dive. Prerequisites: ESSF 1350 AND not enrolled in a high school program.
