A course in non-fiction film production that teaches professional skills necessary for each student to produce and direct a short documentary suitable for a capstone project, broadcast, film festivals, or job applications. Special attention is placed on individual student projects from inception, to research and development, production, and post-production. Documentary directors will also focus on ethical issues, fundraising, and distribution. Prerequisites: 'B-' or better in FILM 2500
