Have you ever wondered what drugs really do to people? This course is designed to introduce the key terms related to drugs, society, and addiction. It is meant to give students an understanding of the impact of drug use/abuse on all dimensions of health. Students will identify and analyze cause and effect with drug use/abuse including personal, family, student, and occupational. The course will provide an overview of prevention, intervention, and treatment options.
