Description:
This course builds on Beginning Japanese I & II, and offers continued development of the four skills (speaking, listening, writing, reading) and an introduction of Japanese culture and customs. The course will focus on expanding the elementary grammatical structures of the Japanese language through aural-oral practices for more complicated everyday-life situations. 100 new kanji will be introduced, bringing the total number to 250. Prerequisites: 'C' or better in JAPAN 1020 OR equivalent
