This course builds on Intermediate Japanese I and offers further development of proficiency in all areas at the sentence- and paragraph-level, and of cultural knowledge for a broader range of everyday situations. The course focuses on mastery of elementary grammatical structures of the Japanese language through aural-oral practices as well as reading and writing. 100 new kanji will be introduced, bringing the total number to 350. Prerequisites: 'C' or better in JAPAN 2010 OR equivalent
