Functions and graphs, polynomial and rational functions, matrices, Gaussian elimination, exponential and logarithmic functions, growth, periodic and continuously compounded interest, arithmetic and geometric series, annuities and loans. Recommended prerequisite is either MATH 980 or MATH 1010 with a C or better, an Accuplacer AAF score of at least 240, an ACT math score of at least 23, or an SAT math score of at least 570.
