This course addresses clinical analysis of body fluids such as spinal fluid, synovial fluid, amniotic fluid, and urine. Emphasis is placed on urinalysis in the scope of renal, body water, and electrolyte physiology. The laboratory component focuses on analysis of human body fluids, correlation of data, and identification of aberrant results affecting body fluid analysis. Prerequisite: Admission to Program.
