Principles and techniques of cartography, including perception, direction, scale, grids, projections, spatial data analysis, data manipulation, color theory and application, and principles of cartographic design. Introduction into computer-aided cartography. A minimum grade of "C" (2.0 or above) must be earned in this course before it can be counted in a Geosciences major or minor or as a prerequisite for any other course.
