The comprehensive school health education portion of the class will focus on the learning and understanding of the policies, procedures, and activities designed to protect and promote the health, well-being, and safety of the students and staff. The eight components of a comprehensive school health education program will be the emphasis. The second part of the class will focus on the methods and techniques of instruction, creative use of media, and practical teaching experience for prospective school health education teachers.
