A capstone course for second year Graphic Design major students. Students will develop professional-level digital and traditional portfolio presentations, self promotional materials, resume, cover letter and basic business forms needed as a freelance designer. Students will learn basic design business practices needed as an independent contractor. In conjunction with organizing portfolios, reworking existing pieces and creating new portfolio material, students will tour design studios and advertising agencies to increase their awareness of the work possibilities within the design and visual communication industry.
