Description:
Millinery will take students through the step-by-step process of creating hats for theater, film, formal or street wear. Professional millinery supplies, methods, materials and equipment will be discussed and used in this course. Students will learn how to make patterns, construct and cover foundations, manipulate felt, make their own trims, and insert linings into well-fitting hats. It is recommended students possess basic knowledge of sewing or complete FASH 1500 prior to or during this course. Semester(s): Fall & Summer
