Description:
Advanced Classical Ballet Class. This course offered in the Fall semester to the MTP students, is designed to help them to continue to build their physical center, give them continued opportunity to practice spinal alignment, teach them how to effectively move away from the center and back to it. This course will push the student to test the limits of his balance, turns and jumps. In this course the student will practice more complex combinations of steps and rhythmic subdivisions. This class meets Monday through Friday for 1.5 hours. The student may take as many as 4 semester of this course. Prerequisites:"C" or better in THEA 4650 OR Admission to Musical Theatre Program Emphasis OR Instructor Consent.
