This course is a comparison of different theories and methods of psychology and their historical context. An evaluation of theories and methods from philosophical and scientific standpoints will be carried out. This course serves as one option for satisfying the senior capstone requirement of the psychology major and is thus intended as a culminating experience in undergraduate study of psychology. Students must have successfully completed 24 credit hours of psychology courses beyond PSY 1010 to enroll. As this course includes a heavy historical experimental focus, students must have completed at least one methods course before enrolling.
