This class will teach students the safety protocols, shooting skills, and management issues associated with shooting air rifles in state-operated facilities. Students will learn about and practice shooting range protocols, gun safety, range safety, range safety as well as the physical and mental principles of marksmanship. Students will also learn to utilize proper rifle nomenclature in their on-range exercises and competition communications as well as learn to handle .177 Olympic grade, air rifles. Not enrolled in a high school program.
