This ensemble course is designed as an introduction to medical laboratory skills that are transferable to research labs in areas such as pipetting, blood typing, using microscopes to examine blood cells and microorganisms, and basic molecular techniques. The other section of the class is an introduction to qualitative research including conducting literature searches, using citation software, and analyzing qualitative data.
