Explores the ways that the earth sciences are employed in archaeological analysis. Topics include: sedimentology, pedology, geomorphology, paleoclimatology, geophysical methods of dating archaeological materials, artifact and materials sourcing, and modeling environment-human interaction. Prerequisite/Restriction: Graduate standing; or ANTH 1020 and ANTH 1030; or GEO 1110 and GEO 2200 and upper-division standing Cross-listed as: ANTH 5330.
