Through emphasis on critical thinking and hypothesis testing, students scientifically evaluate evidence for initial colonization drawn from the fields of archaeology, biological anthropology, genetics, and linguistics. Crosslisted as: ANTH 5380 Prerequisites: ANTH 1030 or 2330, plus one upper-division archaeology course.
