This course lays the foundation for the development of nursing knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes fundamental to nursing practice. Students are introduced to the basic application of the nursing process. Nursing assessment focuses on identifying human needs and grouping supporting data into NANDA domains. The fundamentals of mental health nursing are also explored. Prerequisite/Restriction: BIOL 2320, FCHD 1500, NURS 1010 Corequisite: NURS 1030, NURS 1110 and BIOL 2420 Campus: USU Eastern only Semester(s) Traditionally Offered: Fall
