This course explores the theoretical principles that apply to the administration of medications. Emphasis is placed on competence in the administration of medications, assessment of therapeutic and adverse effects, and nursing interventions which will maximize the desired outcome of drug therapy. Prerequisite/Restriction: BIOL 2320, FCHD 1500, NURS 1010, PSY 1010 Corequisite: NURS 1020, NURS 1030 and BIOL 2420 Campus: USU Eastern only Semester(s) Traditionally Offered: Fall
