Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1010 or ENGH 1005 recommended. Expands the knowledge of disasters so that students of emergency management, volunteers, and community members understand the nature of multiple hazards, both man-made and natural, and are aware of their impact on vulnerable populations. Presents risk management tools to assist in mitigating, planning and preparing for disasters.
