Description:
Course focuses on knowledge necessary to be a certified forklift operator. Content includes pre-operation vehicle-inspection, vehicle capacity and stability, SAFE operating instruction, and maintenance requirements. Students will become familiar with safe load manipulation, stacking and unstacking load, pedestrian traffic where the vehicle will be operated, and will cover narrow aisles and other restricted places where the vehicle will be operated. Prerequisites: Basic Reading, Writing, & Math
