This course examines pharmacotherapeutic agents and complementary interventions used in the treatment of illness as well as the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health and wellness. Emphasis will be placed on the nursing process as it relates to concepts of safe medication administration, monitoring, and effectiveness. Must be completed with a grade of "C" (2.0) or better. (Fall, Spring) [Graded (Standard Letter)] Prerequisite(s): Completion of all Level One courses Registration Restriction(s): Nursing majors only
