This course, the second, of a two-semester sequence following BALLE 2320 for ballet majors, continues to focus on technical training in contemporary dance techniques. Principles of alignment, connectivity, and expression are incorporated. Techniques taught may include but are not limited to: varied modern and post-modern dance forms, somatic practices, forms from the Afro-Caribbean diaspora, and varied improvisational forms. Prerequisites: Full Major status in BALLE OR Department Consent.
