In this course, students will gain a theoretical and applied understanding of adventure programming within the field of Community and Outdoor Recreation. Students will have the opportunity to explore program planning and preparation, and activity implementation through individual and collaborative learning experiences. Upon completion of this course, students will have a Program Plan that reflects the theoretical and logistical elements that comprise programs in Community and Outdoor Recreation. This course also requires an adventure program implementation field experience.
