Survey of prominent microfossil, invertebrate, and vertebrate groups, including their diagnostic morphologic features, stratigraphic ranges, and environmental tolerances. Equips students with the necessary information and techniques to enable them to recognize and utilize fossils in stratigraphic and paleoenvironmental interpretation.
