This course will focus on further application of practices begun in Voice and Diction I, with concentration on the further mastery of IPA transcription, career speech, and professional vocal production with particular focus on the study of major performance dialects for the stage. Classwork in this area will focus on scanning, scoring, speaking, and playing passages from notable world plays/texts, which require good speech and/or American and international dialect work. (Spring - Even Years) [Graded (Standard Letter)] Prerequisite(s): THEA 1113 and THEA 2033 - Prerequisite Min. Grade: C Registration Restriction(s): Acting majors only or permission of instructor
