Prerequisite(s): (ART 366R or ART 2270), ART 2630, and University Advanced Standing; or department approval. ART 2620 recommended.. Studies the human form from a fine arts vantage point at an advanced level in various painting media (oil, acrylic, mixed, etc.). Explores historical and contemporary modes of media/image use and interpretation in conceiving and expressing the human form in a range of stylistic contexts. Painting is done from observation of live models (draped and undraped).. Course Lab fee of $135 applies.
