Explores dynamics of leading in complex situations of current military operations. Examines customs and courtesies, military law, principles of war, and rules of engagement in the face of international terrorism. Significant emphasis placed on preparing cadets for their first unit of assignment. Case studies, scenarios, and ?What Now, Lieutenant?? exercises used to prepare cadets to face complex ethical and practical demands of leading as commissioned officers in the United States Army. Prerequisites/Restrictions: MSL 1010, MSL 1020, MSL 2010, MSL 2020, MSL 3010, MSL 3020, and MSL 4010 or at least two years prior Military Service.
