Prerequisite(s): PSY 1010, ENG 2010, and University Advanced Standing. Examines Eastern and Western spiritualities and their application to mental health. Synthesizes these systems of belief with Western phenomenology. Critiques the theory and practice of psychology from this broader spiritual perspective. Applies these spiritual systems to the theory, research and practice of psychology. Provides experience of meditation, spiritual centering, and respectful spiritual discourse.
