Private music lessons designed for piano performance students. One 50-minute lesson per week and one performance class per week. Participation in a department recital and a final jury examination are required. Course may be repeated for a maximum of 4 credits. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Perform with applicable technical proficiency. 2. Perform with appropriate artistry and interpretation. 3. Demonstrate musical literacy through relevant style and performance practices. 4. Sight read music as assigned by the instructor. Course fee required. Prerequisites: Department Approval and MUSC 2841R (Grade C or higher). FA, SP
