Course content focuses on an understanding of RT definitions, philosophical and theoretical perspectives, service delivery models, and the RT process. **COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES (CLOs) At the successful conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Describe the concepts that form the philosophical foundation of recreation therapy. 2. Outline the importance of understanding the history and development of recreation therapy. 3. Discuss strategies to implement inclusive recreation therapy processes for persons with disabilities. 4. Identify a variety of careers and organizations within the recreation therapy industry. SP
