Description:
The Division of Emergency Medicine is recruiting and training pre-health professional students to become Research Associates (RA) in the Emergency Department of the University of Utah under the direction of Troy Madsen, MD (principal investigator), Camille Hollifield, MPH (co-investigator) and Jessica Carey (RA program coordinator). The program will teach the fundamentals of clinical research and data collection to interested students and volunteers. The primary responsibilities of the RA will be the identification (screening), enrollment and data collection for ongoing studies being conducted in the emergency department. The associate will ensure that the required paperwork and data collection is performed to meet the requirements of each individual study.
