Designed for first-year students or students beginning their studies in Communication to support successful transition. Students will be provided a more in-depth introduction to the sequences of Communication (Strategic Communication, Journalism, Communication Studies, and COMMSHER). Through interactive discussions and collaborative projects, students will be introduced to key resources and strategies for college success including, career/professional development, scholarship information, diversity/inclusion, personal well-being, community engaged learning, and campus involvement. Prerequisites: Freshman or Sophomore level.
