Description:
The content of this course focuses on the knowledge of language structure and its application to teaching. The course will focus on six sub-systems of language- phonetics, phonology, morphology, orthography, semantics, syntax and text structures. In each of these areas the domain of teacher knowledge will be specific, as well as the teacher skills needed in each of these areas. This course requires 15 hours of field experience.
