Description:
The purpose of this course is to prepare students in accordance with Utah State Board of Education's new and recent requirements for teacher licensure. Students' preparation includes developing online instructional strategies and skills to teach online using a learning management system. Secondly, students in the course will use an assessment system to demonstrate classroom competence through performance-based assessment to emphasize teaching effectiveness and show skills, knowledge, and dispositions that all teachers need. Lastly, by participating in the seminar, students will examine professional development issues to support their profession.
